April 11, 2006— Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meter data management (MDM) working group is pleased to announce that Alison Silverstein will keynote the April 24th and 25th event. Silverstein is the former Senior Energy Policy Advisor to Chairman Pat Wood, III, at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. "We are very excited to have Alison join us," said Jon T. Brock, COO of UtiliPoint International. "Alison’s expertise in electric reliability, demand response and technology adoption issues will be an excellent addition to our discussions."
This forum is designed for electric, water, and/or gas utilities, regulators, utility governing boards, ISOs, consumer advocacy groups, vendors and consultants to come together and discuss meter data management successes, problems, issues, interfaces and best practices. AMI MDM continues to seek out new members, who are invited to join in discussions and actively participate. The goal is provide a structure that mirrors the market for meter data management, and provide useful work products that reflect the interests of those entities that make or strongly influence investment in meter data management and adjacent utility systems.
