(UtiliPoint) announced today that thought leader and seasoned industry executive CD Hobbs has joined the company as President, CEO and member of the Board of Directors. Bob Bellemare, former CEO, and Jon T. Brock, former President, will continue with the UtiliPoint management team as Managing Directors and retain their roles on the Board.

Mr. Hobbs joins UtiliPoint as President and CEO having held similar senior level executive positions with companies including Gartner (NYSE: IT), META Group (NASDAQ: METG), where he was President and Chief Operating Officer until its sale to Gartner, SPL WorldGroup, Inc., where he was Chairman and CEO and Portland General Corporation (NYSE: POR), where he had an 18 year career and was Chief Financial Officer. He holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the University of Florida and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.
