SmartGridPoint is your source for the most current information and dialogue on advanced metering, meter data management, meter-to-cash and other Smart Grid issues. The goal of SmartGridPoint is to provide proprietary market research, events, and an open forum for discussion on all aspects of Smart Grid technologies and associated products and services. As the primary moderator, UtiliPoint has been overseeing the growth of this industry group since 2006. Contributors include utilities, regulators, vendors, retailers and other industry participants.

SmartGridPoint Membership

Complementary SmartGridPoint membership is open to the following:

  • Staff member of any utility
  • Staff member or commissioner of state or provincial regulatory authority
  • Staff member or commissioner of federal regulatory agency with regulatory authority over electric, water, and/or natural gas utilities
  • Employee or board member of governing board of non-regulated electric, water, and/or natural gas provider
  • Staff of publicly funded consumer advocacy organization

Additional Participation Opportunities

If your organization doesn’t fit one of the profiles above, such as a vendor or consultant, we still welcome your participation.  An annual membership fee of $3,000 is required, giving you access to our research  and blog, as well as one complementary pass to each of our three annual events which include a Spring Workshop, Fall Workshop, and CS Week. Sponsorship Opportunities

SmartGridPoint offers sponsorship opportunities for all hosted events. Event sponsorship offers extensive exposure onsite, plus pre-event branding and advertising prior to the event. Passes are offered to delegates and access to the attendees list is offered depending on sponsorship level.  There are five sponsorship packages available: Platinum at $15,000, Gold at $10,000, and Silver at $5000, cocktail reception host at $2000, and break host at $2000.
